Greg Hughes

Sales Manager

Greg has spent his life growing up and boating on the waters near White Rock BC. He enjoys his weekends exploring the Gulf Islands and has gone on many trips to Desolation Sound with his family. Greg has been involved in the boating industry since 1998 and has seen many changes in the boating industry over the past decade.

He is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker and provides strong customer service with his knowledge of boats to all his customers he has met over the years.

Glen Simpson

Sales Associate

Glen grew up near the ocean in White Rock, BC and has been exploring the Gulf Islands to Desolation Sound for over 30 years. He is passionate about sharing the bounty that BC has to offer with new boaters and teaching them how to operate and learn their new vessel. Let’s Go Boating! Glen is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker and is committed to his customers and helping them find the perfect boat.

Angus Minard

Sales Associate

Angus has grown up on and around the water, working boat shows for Blackfish Marine since his teens, and starting full time in sales 4 years ago. Angus spends lots of time with family and friends on the Sunshine coast and Vancouver Island when he’s not in Vancouver, and his favorite adventure is to take off and explore the never ending beauty and pleasures that the west coast has to offer. Angus has completed his certification process and is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker for our firm.

Tom Vendel

Sales Associate

Tom was a successful Realtor in Alberta before moving to Vancouver 5 years ago to start his career in yacht sales. He was the North American top performer with Olympic Boat Centers before joining the Blackfish family two years ago. Tom is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker licensed to do business in the United States.

Tom’s enthusiasm and strong commitment to customer service has proven to be a perfect fit with our business model and has recently completed his Broker Certification and is now a Certified Professional Yacht Broker.

Geoffrey Pratt

Service Manager

Geoffrey Pratt has spent a large portion of his life around boats. He built his first boat at eleven years of age, a small hydroplane racer, and raced for 2 summers. Since then Geoff has operated and worked on progressively larger boats. In his early twenties he cruised the pacific coast of Latin America from Mexico to Costa Rica on a thirty two foot sail boat over the course of two years.

In 1995 Geoffrey moved from eastern Canada to Vancouver and immediately began working on boats, indulging a love of boating at the same time.

In early 2008 he began working for Blackfish Marine and has held the position of Service Manager since the beginning of 2010.
